Angelinas Big City Ballet

A visit to the Big Cheese, Mouseland's most exciting city, promises Angelina a wonderful chance to perform. But cousin Jeanie prefers tap dancing and thinks it is better than ballet, creating tension before the show. This lively Angelina Ballerina story combines the excitement of a new place with a familiar disagreement, exploring how listening, respecting different interests and working together can turn rivalry into a happier shared experience.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). The illustrated story suits shared reading with younger children and more independent exploration as reading grows. Following events encourages prediction, sequencing and vocabulary; discussing the characters gives children practice recognising feelings and considering other perspectives.
