Bigger Than This Card Game

Compare scientific wonders in a card game covering chemistry, animals, plants and astronomy. Players ask for cards that are bigger or smaller than those in their hand, while unexpected wildcards complicate the challenge. The game combines surprising facts with a lively reason to think about scale.

Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12), Teens & adults (13+). The rules and factual comparisons suit primary and older children who can follow turns and read the cards, while teens and adults can join the challenge. Play supports comparison, scientific vocabulary, reasoning and remembering information, with the social game also encouraging clear questions and fair turn-taking.
