Dog Man Mothering Heights

Dog Man's luck seems to have deserted him, Petey is wrestling with painful memories, and Grampa adds his own brand of trouble to the mix. New villains make an already difficult situation even more chaotic. This tenth graphic novel combines ridiculous action with a warm emotional thread, inviting readers to see how love and friendship can offer hope even when its characters feel surrounded by problems.

Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12). Comic panels make the action approachable for primary readers and reward older children who enjoy visual humour. Reading words alongside pictures supports sequencing, inference and understanding of dialogue; the characters' choices invite discussion about friendship, kindness and working together.
