Gods Good Idea

God's good idea is a world filled with different people who all matter to him. This Christian picture book introduces creation, the damage caused by sin and Jesus' work of bringing people together. Bright illustrations and an accessible retelling make the theme of unity welcoming, inviting children to celebrate differences and think about love, belonging and life together.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). The illustrated retelling suits shared reading with younger children and more detailed discussion as reading develops. Following the story supports vocabulary, recall and sequencing, while its Christian themes offer families opportunities to discuss belief, hope, kindness and the responses of the characters to what happens.
