Klutz Arcade Claw Game

Build a miniature arcade-style claw game and explore how its moving parts work together. This Klutz project brings making and play into one activity, inviting children to follow the instructions, assemble the mechanism and experiment with the finished game.

Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12). The construction project suits primary and older children ready to follow instructions and investigate a mechanism. Assembly supports spatial reasoning, fine motor coordination and sequencing; trying the finished game encourages observation, cause-and-effect thinking and practical problem-solving.
