Klutz Pom Pom Backpack Clips

Make pom-pom characters that can become decorative backpack clips. This Klutz project combines a soft craft technique with personal accessories, inviting children to choose their designs, work through the making process and enjoy using what they have created.

Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12). The practical making task suits children who can follow a short sequence, with adult help for younger makers. Choosing details and assembling a design support fine motor coordination, planning and concentration, while the finished creation encourages imaginative play and confidence in creative work.
