Klutz Sun Catchers

Create colourful sun catchers to display where light can shine through them. This Klutz making project gives children opportunities to plan a design, work carefully through the steps and enjoy seeing how their finished decoration changes in the light.

Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12). The practical making task suits children who can follow a short sequence, with adult help for younger makers. Choosing details and assembling a design support fine motor coordination, planning and concentration, while the finished creation encourages imaginative play and confidence in creative work.
