Miffy Goes To Stay Book

Miffy feels nervous about travelling alone to visit a friend, but the day soon fills with games, hide-and-seek and even a chance to try roller skates. Dick Bruna's clear pictures and gentle storytelling make the new experience feel approachable. This warm first adventure gives children a reassuring way to talk about anticipation and growing independence, while celebrating the familiar pleasure of spending a busy, happy day with someone they like.

Age suitability and learning: Baby & toddler (0-2), Preschool (3-5). The illustrated story suits shared reading with younger children and more independent exploration as reading grows. Following events encourages prediction, sequencing and vocabulary; discussing the characters gives children practice recognising feelings and considering other perspectives.
