Mog The Forgetful Cat Paperback

Mog forgets things, makes mistakes and causes trouble around the house, but her family still has plenty of reason to love her. An unexpected nighttime event gives the absent-minded cat a chance to become a hero. Judith Kerr's affectionate story finds humour in familiar pet behaviour, offering a reassuring picture of family life in which someone can be imperfect and still belong.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). The illustrated story suits shared reading with younger children and more independent exploration as reading grows. Following events encourages prediction, sequencing and vocabulary; discussing the characters gives children practice recognising feelings and considering other perspectives.
