Over In The Meadow Barefoot Books & CD

Meet animals and their young in a meadow through a familiar counting song, with illustrated scenes and an accompanying CD inviting children to listen and sing. The growing pattern connects numbers with lively creatures and actions, giving each verse something new to notice. A cheerful book for shared music time, where words, rhythm and pictures make participation feel natural.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). Short verses and familiar rhythms suit shared singing and growing attention spans. Repeating the words supports listening, memory and sound awareness, while joining in encourages expressive speech and enjoyment of language; older children can explore the songs or verses with greater independence.
