Paddington At St Pauls

Paddington visits St Paul's Cathedral, where his curiosity and well-meant actions once again lead somewhere unexpected. Michael Bond's familiar bear brings gentle humour to an impressive London landmark, helping young readers enjoy the setting through an approachable adventure. The story offers a warm shared read about exploring new places, meeting people and the surprises that can follow when a visitor does not quite understand how everything works.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). The illustrated story suits shared reading with younger children and more independent exploration as reading grows. Following events encourages prediction, sequencing and vocabulary; discussing the characters gives children practice recognising feelings and considering other perspectives.
