Port Side Pirates Barefoot Books & CD

Set sail with pirates on a musical adventure, exploring life aboard ship through bright pictures and a lively song. The accompanying CD adds a way to hear the rhythm and return to favourite verses together. The adventurous setting gives children plenty to imagine and describe, making the book an inviting bridge between shared storytime, singing and pretend play.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). Short verses and familiar rhythms suit shared singing and growing attention spans. Repeating the words supports listening, memory and sound awareness, while joining in encourages expressive speech and enjoyment of language; older children can explore the songs or verses with greater independence.
