Taby Mctat Julia Donaldson

Tabby McTat loves singing with his busker friend, but an unexpected separation leads him to a new life and a choice about where he belongs.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). Preschoolers can enjoy an adult reading aloud, while primary-age children can explore the story and its ideas in more detail. Rhythm and repeated sounds invite joining in, building listening and awareness of how words sound. Following the adventure supports recall, sequencing and prediction.
