The Jolly Postman HB

Join the Jolly Postman as he delivers letters and cards to familiar fairy-tale characters. Janet and Allan Ahlberg's interactive story includes envelopes with correspondence to take out and explore. Best suited to preschoolers aged around 4–5 with adult help and primary-age children who can explore more of the writing. Opening the envelopes provides coordination practice, comparing letters introduces different purposes for writing, and recognising fairy-tale characters encourages recall, humour and discussion. The removable pieces are best enjoyed carefully together. Find it at QT Toys in Battersea!
