The Story Orchestra Carnival Of The Animal

Explore a lively parade of animals through a picture-book interpretation of Saint-Saëns's The Carnival of the Animals. Musical extracts accompany the illustrated creatures, inviting children to imagine how sound can suggest movement, personality and size. The Story Orchestra format turns listening into a shared adventure, combining expressive pictures with the playful character of the composition and giving little music lovers a colourful route into a famous orchestral work.

Age suitability and learning: Preschool (3-5), Primary (6-8). The combination of story, illustration and music suits shared reading and children beginning to listen more closely to composed music.
