The Transport For London Puzzle Book

Explore London's transport network through a collection of puzzles, turning routes, stations and journeys into challenges to work out. The themed problems offer older children, teens and adults a way to practise careful reasoning while enjoying the details and patterns of a system that connects the city.

Age suitability and learning: Older children (9-12), Teens & adults (13+). The varied visual challenges suit children ready to look carefully and work through a task, with adult support where needed. They encourage observation, comparison, concentration and problem-solving; explaining a choice or checking a route gives children practice reasoning and learning from another attempt.
