Wherever You Go My Love Will Follow

Birgitta Sif's illustrated collection presents short stories as loving letters, using animal characters to explore the lessons we hope someone will carry through life. Beginning again, finding courage and noticing ordinary wonders become moments of gentle discovery. The affectionate tone makes this a thoughtful gift and a rewarding shared read, offering different generations a way to talk about resilience, friendship and love that continues through change.

Age suitability and learning: Primary (6-8), Older children (9-12), Teens & adults (13+). The illustrated, reflective format suits primary children reading with support and older readers who can consider its ideas more deeply. Discussing the words and pictures encourages interpretation, emotional vocabulary and empathy, while different ages can connect the themes with their own experiences of friendship and change.
